The Amazing Shrinking Clyde's and Athena's

    http://theamazingshrinkingclydes.blogspot.com/

I have the weight loss group set up on a blog for a central location for tools and everything.
KT made a great suggestion, in that it needed better organization. If any of you in the group would like to submit an article or low carb recipe or other, email it to me. Just type it in the email body and I'll copy/paste it to the blogsite. Send the mail to gunsel2001@yahoo.com for article submission and you will be properly credited as the author.

Post your monthly weights in the comments section and be advised, I have the alphabet test to reduce spam. I'll try to keep the spam out, so bear with me.
on light duty due to illness; please contact my assistants for forum issues. They are Siu Blue Wind, or CbadRider or the other 3 star folk. I am currently at home recovering from a couple of strokes. I am making good progress, happily.

Nope, not at all! Send me a baseline weight and you'll appear next month! How's that sound?

Because the Greek goddess Athena was statuesque, as I understand the term to be used. It's a traditional reference in the cycling world, mainly because the ladies didn't like being called a horse!

They call the men Clydesdales because we may be big, but we're also STRONG!

Athena was supposed to have had masculine attributes so I don't know if that's much better but, ok, thanks for the answer!

I didn't initiate the term, I personally would have used Valkyries instead, but I guess there would still get some masculine attributes that way as well! I believe it was the reference to Athena as a standard of beauty though that prompted the use of Athena rather than any masculine attributes.
