How cool is this?
I have posted here a couple times, being an unhappy ol' hoss but mostly I post in the "Old Farts" Forum (Fifty+) and lurk alot here.
I have weighed in excess of 200 lbs for I can't even remember how long now. Too long.
It has been my dream since the time I started saying "I am NOT going to hit 200 pounds" -as I blew past it to over 220- to get back under. It was my fervent hope that getting back on the bike would help me accomplish that. Then, aith the autumn/winter rains coming, I bought a trainer (just in time, it seems) and I have been busted my heinie on that. Yesterday morning I felt... I don't know... different, lighter. So, I got on the scale and there it was... 198 199 198 199... I couldn't believe it. I checked again this morning (was it a dream?) and still 199. This is the first time I have seen the underside of 200 in at least a year, year and a half... maybe more. I am so happy. Next goal: 185. It's been so hard - I don't have to tell y'all that- but I will carry on! Back to lurking...

Darn! Checked again this AM and, well, we have a little bounce back: 201.
Still trending in the right direction but maybe not the breakthrough I had hoped for. Still, I perservere

Destroyer of Wheels
Over the course of three days last week I went up 10 pounds (yes that's after .... and at same time every day) after staying at 1800 calories. Went for a ride and dropped 9 of those (still drank over 150 oz of water on it too). Don't despair!
