Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Well, after some arm twisting, I got Aimee, my hard nosed physical therapist , to allow me to ride more than 6 minutes at a shot. I did 20 last night and I really feel it today, but damn does it feel good. So my miles for the week....drum roll, a whopping 7.5 and 38 mins.

Pathetic week, if it wasn't thunderin' the wind was howling, so up until today it looked awful, then I set a single ride distance record 47,7km, okay, it would have been shorter if I hadn't gotten lost looking for the beltline bridge in Mount Pleasant Cemetery*. Managed 93.7lm (58.2km) for the week in 5 hours 25 minutes, mostly because the wind slowed me down, and Today, some nice hills.
*Okay about Mount Pleasant Cemetery, it's more like a large park with cemetery markers, people bike, walk and run through there, all the time, and the Cemetery company that operates it, actually encourage these activities in the "park".

87.53 miles in 7:43:00
I find it kind of ironic that I am thoroughly disappointed with my performance this week, but a mere 3 weeks ago I was just doing commutes for a total of 25 miles a week and nearly collapsing after every trip.

35.9 miles, 190 minutes.
Did a 19 mile trip this afternoon with several heavy climbs. Most I was able to grind my way up without stopping, but the killer was near Kinnickinnic State Park: 43.7 mph peak on the downhill, and in top gear I can't spin faster than about 32 mph. Of course the climb back out of the river valley took three stops to catch my breath and ease the lactic burn.

Big week for me, PFFFFTT.....
10.2 miles
42 min saddle time
I just wish I could count the miles I rode my motorcycle! Just over 1100 miles in about 18hrs riding time. So even though it was a bad week for riding....it was a good week for riding
