240 lb: 20mm Hub for AM/XC?

I'm looking to swap out the Manitou black on my '05 Stumpy FSR. Or ignally I was looking at the '06 Marz AM1 with ETA (std. axle) but now I have an option on the '06 Marz 66 with ETA (20mm axle) for about the same price, considering I'll need to buy a new hub, and rebuild a wheel.

What's the consensus (amongst those who have experience in such matters) regarding the benefit of the beefier axle? I'm leaning toward the 20mm because if the fork works, I know I'll push myself harder.

Somthing tells me I'd better invest in that extra design margin 'up front', or else risk paying for it later.

Thanks in advance for any available wisdom / expertise

Steering is more precise and there's less flex. Definately worth it.
