buying first bike, quick questions.

im not quite a clydesdale..6'1, ~200. Does my weight affect what kind of bike i should be looking at? I'm wanting an inexpensive (sub $700 seems to be the magic number) road bike.

At that pricepoint, probably not. We aren't as hard on bikes as some people would have you believe. I probably wouldn't ride boutique wheels...but then paying $1100 for a set of wheels is kinda dumb anyway. Probably the same could be said of carbon fiber (jury is still out on that). But at $700 you won't have to worry about that

Just get the best deal you can (maybe look a little higher) and then go ride.
