supersizedcycles

I see people asking about bikes for big guys... for what it is worth the site "supersizedcycles" claims to be started by someone looking for a big bike so they started their own thing.
Some or all may have heard of this already so if that is the case :) you've heard it again.
Just some info from an almost clyde.

Thanks. I just got a new bike that fits, finally, but that would have saved me a lot of time...

I visited their site. Pretty nice. I only looked at the bicycles and the electrics (someday). The Worksman bikes are big but not the responsive sort of beastie many of us would like to ride. They will get you around a factory floor petty well though.

I just recently bought a K2 Big Easy Deuce. It has some sort of 'stretch frame' thing going on and the crankset is five or so inches infront of the seat downtube, which I think gives a little extra room and comfort. I expect there are many bikes built like that, I don't know. But it sure fits me well. No feeling of being bent double or losing track of where the seat went. I'm going to replace the bars with 30" multi position cruiser bars - that should be nice.

This is the first bike I ever had that was comfortable. I can cruise on this bike for a long time. The times will get longer once my butt toughens up. We just got hit with a freezing rain forcast for the next two days and I'm feeling bitter about not being able to ride. :(

BTW, my dimensions are 6' tall, 260 lbs, size 13 feet and a recent heart attack.

If you are not too tall, the bombers to get are from Worksman Cycles:

Yep, I know the owner of Supersized and Joan started the site because she couldn't get a straight answer over the weight capacity of a bike as it concerns very large riders. She had bariatric surgery like I did and was a very large woman once upon a time, hence the reason for starting the site.;)
