Pic as taken by my 7 year old of me taking the GT for its first trip since being bought on Saturday

I damaged my cruciate and lateral ligaments in November, using a Kettler Golf exercise bike in the rehab.

As my wee boy likes to ride his bike, thought I would get something to join him in the exercise, we did a 7km run on sunday to get me started.

I used to ride regulary until about '83 at which point me, my dad and a cousin were doing about 250km per day.

That racer got totalled with a driver that had turned right blocking the downhill I was plummetting down in the rain, I went through the passenger window of his car and a delicate part of my body got caught on the handlebars stopping me going through the drivers window.

Then I got a licence for a bike with an engine and still have a motorcycle.
