no sooner do I fit the bike racks to the top of the car, than it starts snowing

3cm (just over an inch) outside my house over 10 cm slightly north of where I am, and the forecast is snowfall for the rest of the week.............

Good job I didnt take the ski racks off yet or maybe

When you visit it depends on what you want to see

the view from the top of the lift at Saas Fee - home highest underground railway with a revolving restaurant outside

looking down to Saas Fee

or perhaps you want to head to Zermatt

or perhaps cycling around the lakes

it really depends on what you want to see

Up at Saas Fee it doesnt melt well not all the way down, you can ski there all year round.

Most of the snow had started to go at lower levels and we were getting temps up to 17 degrees (64ish) then yesterday happened and there is snow all teh way down to 500m alt there is snow forecast for the rest of this week.

Normally there is one big dump of snow early to mid April then it starts getting too warm for it to lie, down at the lake altitude approx 350m I havent seen snow after mid April in 5 years.
