One of the things that has changed my shape, is that on Saturday mornings during winter, I take the boys 7 and 5 up skiing 8am to 12.30, then we head home and they go play with their friends. Depending on what shift I am on I take them Wednesday afternoon too as the kids here dont have school on Wednesday afternoons.
The past few weeks we have went cycling for an hour or hour and a half first thing on Sunday morning, then go swimming for 2 hours later in the day.
As the ski season fades away (although looking out the window this morning I will need to wait until the snow plough comes through) cycling will replace Saturday morning skiing.
I am also planning on commuting to work .... every little bit of exercise helps.
Only down to 266lbs this morning......that was a nice surprise.
