After a back injury three years ago my weight slowly rose up to 240. My back started to feel a bit better and in December I began a (rather severe) diet and exercise program. I have never had much luck riding and loosing weight so I used an eliptical machine for a strenous hour-plus a day workout regieme. This machine doesn't have moving arms it has an adjustable height ramp instead and I was able to build my hamstrings and glutes by raising it all the way up. I'm now down to 190 and biking season is here, so I want to thank you all for inspiring me to endure this gawd awful regime to get to this point. I won't see your posts as I am required by law to leave this group; but I'll be looking for you out on the road.
