Clydesdale Forum is Refreshing
Fellow Clydesdales,
I just wanted to let all of my fellow Clyde’s know that I really appreciate the Clydesdale forum! I’ve been a member of the BF for quite some time and used to spend most of my time on the road cycling forum. Over the last couple of years the road cycling forum seemed to gravitate towards people making snide remarks in response to many posts and just looking to wage war with other participants. I actually quit scanning the BF for quite a while and then the Clydesdale forum started. I just wanted to share with you that I find it very refreshing to see the comradely and support offered on this forum. You guys have regained my interest in the BF and I’m glad to be back. Just thought I would let you know…. |

I dont know if IBM used the same marketing slogan over there
"Slim might be in but Fats where its at" The only thing IBM has done that I have ever appreciated. ;) |
I've appreciated it too. Its nice to be starting out and not be treated like an idiot because you are not riding a $3000 bicycle with customized everything!

Some of us may ride $3k plus bikes but that is not the point... my point is the people participating in the Clydesdale forum appear to be more interested in sharing experiences and knowledge as well as providing support for others and they have a place to brag about personal accomplishments. It seems to be more of a community and I like it that way :)

yeah I get snarky fromtime to time but I really like that my advice and everyone else's is respected here and almost no two bits of experience are the same
