Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Just when you think you're slow, you go ride with some skinny friends who don't regularly bike and realize you're not slow at all.

Amen brother! I love it when I go riding with someone for the first time, and after a couple of miles they just stop and say "wow.. just.. how do you do it!?"

Seems to be an ongoing phrase

Amazing what dropping 50 lbs and going from a clunky MTB to a fast hybrid will do for you

Just think...all those years it took to build those quads (and the rest of your legs for that matter) just to walk that fat up and down stairs and anywhere else. That's not just recently packed on training muscle like what most riders would have, thats year after year hardened muscle.

Its even better when you drop your friends' multi speed bike while riding a single speed.
