This Day in history

On this day in history I finally broke the 300 lb mark and weighed in at 298.4. > I jokingly told my wife that to celebrate, I wanted Cheescake after my burger and fries. After about 45 days of stagnant weight range, I am finally starting to see some movement downward. About damn time.

Off to dinner. Salad and fruit and then a 20 mile ride.

Thanks for making the math easy. 7.8 lbs per month -- now that's amazing!

Or me in my late 6's

Congrats. Sometimes you have to keep plodding away even when it doesn't look like you're going anywhere!

Thanks everyone. This was a major goal for me of which I wanted to have done last year, but all good things come tp those that wait. I just didn't want to wait this long. Thanks Tom, I'm going to print this out and putting it over my desk at work.

Congratulations! 300 is a major milestone. I found that once you get under 300, people begin to look at you differently. It's no longer a case of "He's really fat!" but instead one of "he's a bit chubby, he could lose some weight." Unfortunately Americans have accepted moderate obesity as relatively 'normal.'

Not to jump on your bandwagon, Brian. but I broke 250 yesterday, coming in at 249 and a fraction. Let's both celebrate. I'm leaving for a training ride in a few minutes. :-)
