How to select bibs
I've decided to try bibbed shorts since so many of my fellow clydes have had so many good things to say about them,(and I'm sick of riding with the feeling of a thick rope around my hips). But, I'm not sure how to select the proper size. What dimension should I be most concerned with? Shuold I go by torso length, inseam, or waist? I welcome everyones 2 cents but, I'd really like to hear what you have to say Tom. Thanks

Waist to shoulders. The biggest issue is too tight on the shoulder straps. You wind up with a chamois wedgie and sore shoulders if the straps are to short for the torso. If you have a really long torso, you might benefit from the next size up, for example. The Lycra will look small anyway.
Aerotech designs has really good bibs and Sugoi does as well for long torso folk.
A good rule of thumb is to be able to try on your first pair of Bibs (wear underwear for this!)

I just bought my first pair of bib shorts. I got the Pearl Izumi MicroSensor 3D Pro bib shorts through Performance (I'm a member) when they had a sale. I am 6'1" and 250lbs. I got the XL size and they fit pretty good. I really like not having to worry about plumbers butt anymore.
