Also nice ride! That white bike really does look good.. keep us informed on how it holds up, I need a "real" road bike sometime, and don't have the bank account to get the beautiful rides i'd love to get
Yes, I'd like to see 388 pounds of Lycra-clad Clyde whipping through corners at 18 MPH. Just as proof such things exist. :-)

I say we create a uberclyde team to enter a race event just for a showing of determination! lol

instead of water bottles we can put oxygen tanks! lol

I still think that would be awe inspiring!

I'll have you know I'm down to a svelte 366 these days! Also I've backed off the corners a bit, as a sand + slick tire scare the other morning convinced me that I should keep the hammerfests for the straights .

You know, I could put my Treo in such a way that it could record a video of me riding down the MUP. I may just do that this evening, as long as nobody will use it for "evidence"!!! hahah

I agree! Either awe inspiring, or a giant draft block with a massive peloton of racers following us!

The problem is, we would all train so hard that by the time the race was here we would not be uberclydes.

Well there's a race in Bellevue, NE on July 1.. can't remember the site for it. But it's a $10 entry, and a family event. I guess the beginner class is very beginner.

I'm just hoping to: 1.) not die, 2.) finish, and 3.) not finish last

Good luck Bdinger! show'em how we big boys do it! hahah

I think we should organize a Clydesdale/Athena meet somewhere centralized and do a training ride.
open to whomever perhaps?
