Heh, yes I read. Have not been on the bike for the past couple of days. I have a ride planned tonight and the 4th is a day unto myself. I plan on taking a very long ride the 4th starting at 5:30 AM.

Do you ever feel that the Fates have a personal issue with you? I have been feeling run down all week. I get home last night and start a fever with a soar throat. I skip my planned ride. I wake this morning and find I have all the makings of strep throat.

Yes, I lost 110 pounds and discovered I had an incurable spinal problem of lifelong duration with no chance of improvement. Strep throat is nothing, Jumbo. I'll trade scoliosis for strep throat any day.

The Fates appear strong but I think you can, more often than not, bend them to your will with sheer effort. I look at individuals like Historian (and others here) and believe that more and more.

I think we are going to stay on this side of the river. Mascoutah has a 4th show which is not far from my house. If the rain holds off. Other than that, I think the wife is going to take the kids to the pool and we are going to bbq. THen play the weather after that.

I just got back from a ride and man is it humid today! I would not be surprised if the storms actually make it in tonight.

We haven't had a report on Big Liberty Blue in a few days. How is she rolling?

Jumbo I want a ride update. You owe me man! I want to hear more stories about how the Long Haul Trucker makes you drip sweat and breathe hard and want to get off and push and how you just don't do it but keep on riding...
