79 miles in four hours? Fantastic!

I'm usually happy if my average is anywhere near 15...

Simply AWESOME!

Just wondering. For you long-distance riders, where do you stop and urinate? DO you plan your restroom stop in advance, or just tinkle in the bushes

Depends on one's sex.

Let's just say that I try to plan my 'rest' stops in advance, although I've gotten pretty quick about the whole thing.

I've been on rides where guys will pull off to the side of the road, whip it out while still straddling the bike and let it go. I'm a bit more modest, and will at least find a tree or bush!

I couldn't get the map to work. Was it really 79 miles in 4 hours? That's a maintained 20 mph??? I thought a fast club ride maxed out at like 16-17?

15 is still above mine...I usually average around 12-13.

Great ride, Tom.

Great ride!

I too am in the 12-13mph range. And about 2.5 hours is my limit so far.

Fairly flat ride, and I had a tailwind on the return loop, for once! No wind outbound and I felt great.

Yep, and you can see my van in the parking lot!

I keep hoping sometime I'll get a recent image and see myself in it on the bike! Wouldn't that be cool?
