You and me bdinger, you have two working bikes, I have two working knees. I have 2000 miles to ride before the end of the year to make my goal as well.

Let's see 1180km as of today or 733 miles for the year.

Still trying to get my wife riding. She is doing some walking, so she's half way.

I had a wreck that destroyed my bike computer in May, so I don't know the grand total. I've put in 2464 on my road bike since late-May. Maybe 200-300 more on my mountain/commuter bike? I tried to get faster at riding in the mountains and up hills this year, and did not keep up with the milage like some people do. My average speed on my "hilly", about 3-hour local ride, went from 13.5 mph to 15.2 mph. I suck at hills, and was very happy with that!

I figured it up so far and was a little disappointed! 2798.96 miles thus far, not counting this week. I'll top 3000 for the year, but injuries this year slowed me down some

Still sitting at 2500 for the year. No mileage for the week as I have just been slammed with work. We are putting in a new data warehouse and I'm doing a lot of programming from home. It turning cold tonight, suppose to be 37 and in the low 30's tomorrow. I guess I will be riding the trainer if I can get a couple more sections completed. Got about 25 hr OT this week.

How do you keep track of your miles? so you use a bicycle pedometer? or just estimate? I would like to keep track of my miles but I ride for fun and it is hard to measure my route in miles.

I'm right about 4,500 this year. A bit more than 500 to meet my goal of 5,000. I can do it!

Get a cylco computer, or computer for your bike. I have a $15 model that is basic. Average speed, distance, average and ride time. I have another that runs about $170.

I like the cheapie more!...get one at Performance bike shop or online. Easy to hook up.

I joined bikejournal.com.....make your own log, then it ranks you according to the others on the site which is now about 7000 riders. Cool deal, check it out!

I'm a major data junkie so I have a Garmin 305, my wife, not so much so she has a basic computer that ran about $25

At 173 I'm not really a clyde anymore, but since I was 258 on Jan 1 2006 I'll go ahead and consider myself one..

As of last night I'm at 8297 miles for the year. Based on the bike snob's rules for riding, I can get a nice bike.

I'm a little over 6500. My original goal was 5000. Unfortunately I'm still at 235# instead of the 195 I was at 2 years ago when I first made 5,000 for the year. I'm hoping some job stress reduction will help in that area!

I was out of commission for four months due to a nasty head injury (check my sig if you're brave). So, with that, I'm at 1,500 for the year. I'd be at 2,000 otherwise.

I am now at 1827 miles, but miles are getting hard to find as Minneapolis gets colder and darker. I am going to have to get in the trainer habit.

2,081.26.

My goal was 2,000, with a hope of making 2,500. I should hit 2,200 this week (long thanksgiving ride planned, plus commute tomorrow.

Starting to get used to the dark again...

That's why you're not 258 any more! I'm looking to get down to about where you are now (weighed in at an even 200 after my Saturday rided. Calling it 201 officially to account for some water loss. I was about 250 at my highest (probably 15 years ago) and around 225 as little as 6 months ago. I look to emulate your success!

But it will probably take me a bit longer. I've got 1670 miles since mid-April (when I started) and aiming for 2k by year end. Not sure I can find the time for more than about 3k a year (maybe a little more if I throw in a few centuries and an ms 150 this year ). Does that mean I can't get a nice bike?
