Clydes and Athenas, Year to date mileage?

I'm currently at 3117 for the year. Wanted more than 4,000. I think I'll easily break that. Maybe 5,000 as I like to kick it up at the end of the year giving my fellow bikejournal friends a lil run for their money!

My wife Gina is currently at 1700. AND YES, she is an ATHENA!

I run my own DB. I just hadn't tallied personal miles for a few months. All I had to do was generate a little report.

You've seen BJ? I think it's cool comparing my mileage to others. Watching their little bikes pass mine, then trying to pass 'em back. Fun and games!

I found a job with ez work and day shift hours. No 3 am worknights and best thing of all, in the opposite direction. Now I don't have to drive thru 100 mile and hour traffic. Current commute is near college town. Nice bikelanes and very little traffic. I'm thinking about getting one of those cool commuters with fenders and all. Would be fun riding to work for a change!

Nope, "Spinning the Cranks", inside and outside....all miles count! It's called Spinner Saturday as a catchy name for a reminder to report your miles on Saturday.

SO much for my assumption! I guess it's true what they say about 'Assume'!

This is my first season riding and my goal was 1000miles (sounded big) I am now at 1290miles and upped my season goal to 2500. This will of course include some trainer miles in the Minneapolis winter.

Cool. 11? I need to get back to doing centuries. I did 23 in 2005, and only one since back in May. But it was a tough one!

I don't think you can beat my 23!

Cool! I'm glad I don't need the trainer here in Cali. ONly once in a blue mooon. They do make for some good workouts if you do intervals!

Less than 400 since I got my Giant in June. I'm not sure how many miles I had before that, since I've never had a computer on my Hardrock. I rode it a lot early in the season though.

I just haven't had much time to ride this year - between work & school, I only get 1-2 days on the bike per week. I've been in the gym 3 days a week though, so my fitness is still improving.

Grandkids? Either ya'll had children pretty young, my eyes need recalibrated, or she's extremely well preserved - from that picture, I wouldn't have guessed she was nearly old enough to be a grandmother.

On the other hand, my longest ride this season was on that Hardrock: 45 miles of asphalt, mountain tires & all. Took me about 6 hours, but I did it. That was the ride that convinced me that I needed to get a road bike.
