Where are we?

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

I ride with a group of larger riders. We've named ourselves "Porky Pedalers" We ride together at least once a week, and usually more. Let me know if you're close enough and would like to join us.

We ride mostly local
We mostly ride locally to train for whatever upcoming event we have. We just came back from the Kati Trail, where we road up to our state capital and took some pictures. We injoyed it so much, there is talk of doing it again in the fall.
Some of us are training for the MS 150 in Kansas City. That's a bit of a stretch for most of us, but it's good to have goals that stretch you.
Presently, the Porky Pedalers are self devided into 3 basic groups. Our mentors that keep us motivated and incouraged ride at about 20-22 mph when they aren't slowed down by the rest of us. I'm in a group that averages 14-16 mph, and there's another group in the 10-12 mph range. We ride at least once a week as a group, and often times more in and around Lawson, Mo

Iowa City, Iowa here.....I have been commuting by bike for a little over a year now and I am down from 275 to 235. Its fun and inspiring to read about others' stories of success. This is my new favorite forum.

I'm semi-rocking it in Milwaukee. Since I work for the government, aren't an Eastside college hipster, and am just getting into FG/SS via BMX...I ride alone. Oh, and it's damn cold here the majority of the year.
I miss San Fran. Sadfacecry.
