Goodbye Forum

I started out riding in April at 273 lbs, and this week I have dropped to 198. Woohoo. I am in the 100's.

So, no hard feelings or anything, but I am no longer a clydesdale!!!

Good job.

That is my plan as well, but I will still be a clyde at heart and will always remember how hard it was to get under that number.

Once a clyde, your always a clyde, at least in spirit, which is why your now a clyde emeritus......

Kudos on the accomplishment, and in spite of what some people might say, your always welcome here....

You've earned it!

BTW how tall are you? Unless you're under 6 foot, you'll always be a Clyde.

You guys are awesome. I will always be a clyde at heart, but hopefully never physically again. I am 5'9" so I still have a little bit to go.

I consider it a huge achievement, but my actual goal is 175. Then I'll re-evaluate my weight.

Congratulations on the drop!

I am right there with you. I started out at 235 lbs this past spring and recently saw 202 lbs. My goal is 190 (I am 6'0").

Good luck getting to your target weight!

Way to go!

I am as close as I have ever been in my adult life, 212 on the scale this morning. I can see the door, just can't quite reach it yet....

212 feels a whole lot different than 310.

Well done. It feels so much easier cycling with such a significant weight loss I remember how different I felt after losing just 28lbs Its like buying a performance bike.
I too started out in April at 291lbs and now I'm a more streamline 168.25lbs I was quite scared how much I had to lose but having lost 41% of my body weight in less than 6 months I feel like a new man. Cycling is for me the easiest exercises to do when carrying the extra lbs. Low impact and enjoyable.

Congradulations!!! Those are some fantastic results. I have been hovering around the 200lb mark now for a few weeks (between 195 and 203) but will always consider myself a clyde (I am short at 5'7"). According to the "charts", I still have 40 to 50 pounds to go before I am considered a healthy weight. Who the hell makes these charts anyway?

I'll be there soon, 222# as of this AM down from 288# in April. Today I am wearing an outfit that has no "X's" for the first time since High School.
