Skin tight is alright!! If someone does not like the look, then they can look somewhere else.

Lots of people are big on the Aerotech Designs bibs and shorts. I remember them from when I lived in the midwest and they were a much smaller company, and apparently getting larger didn't mean any decline in quality.
If you're looking for a bib with generous padding, then the Century Gels from Performance are my choice.

Bibs are preferable if you have a bit of gut. You can breathe better

Who cares what others think? I want the comfort and the protection from saddle tangle as well as the abrasion resistance of lycra, as well as the wicking of [proper fit. I don't wear it for style, it's just a tool.

Think of the small-minded people who will judge you, most of whom may well not exercise at all, and realize that their opinions aren't remotely as important as your comfort.

I know most guys here have a gut and most guys here seem to prefer bibs. Don't worry what anybody else thinks in terms of looks....just wear what's best for you.
I recently got a pair of bibs, but have only worn them one time for a very short ride. I mainly got them because so many people here in the clyde forums seemed so keen on them.

I wear bibs but I also wear a loose fit XXL or XXXL MX/freeride jersey on top even when on the road. Mainly because most cycling jerseys are to tight around the arms.

What bibs do you guys use?
Personally I still ride in shorts a pair of PI and Sugoi. I like the Sugoi chamois so much better than the PI.
How are the Performance house brand bibs?
