Holiday in South Africa

Clydes (and any others lurking),

My wife and I will be spending our Winter Break in South Africa (sans bike): On safari in Kruger National Park, touring the Garden Route, relaxing in Wine Country and finishing up in Cape Town. I will update you with photos in January. Until then we wish you a peaceful, relaxing holiday season with friends and family.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Can't wait for the photos.

My brother spent 2 years in Zimbabwe/Zambia/Malawi, and let's just say I was jealous. What a beautiful country. It's so sad that it's so devastated by political/social unrest and corruption.

Anyways, sorry to be a downer. Have a great time, and hit us with plenty of pics when you get back.

Just a warning about Johannesburg. Do not pack anything valuable in your luggage. A friend of mine used to work in Namibia and she had her luggage rifled through and some stuff stolen twice there. It is a common occurrence.
