Bike Storage Ideas

I would like to keep my NEW bike in the house but need ideas. I have a door to the outside in the laundry room but would have to hang the bike from ceiling or some type of vertical wall mount. Would hanging a bike from the wheel (ceiling mount) cause any problem to the rim or bike?
SUGGESTIONS NEEDED!!

No problem with hanging the bike by a hook. Get 1 of those hooks that is shaped like a question mark from Home Depot for about $1.25. Works perfectly

Hanging on a hook from the ceiling won't hurt the bike. Just make sure you anchor the hook into a stud or strong wall joist.

Park it in front of the TV. It's great motivation to use it.

I have bought from Lowe's the two prong bike racks in the garage storage solutions section for about $15...works great and you can stack bikes on wall of garage on top of one another with two of these...FWIW

There is a rack called "Against the Wall". It holds two bikes...against the wall. I can't take a picture right now...may be on line...you can get another bike! I hate empty spaces!
