A friend of mine actually threatened me with bodily harm if he ever saw me wearing any Primal clothing.

He was serious too.

I have no idea, that was my question. Was it because of the name, something they do, or bad quality**********?

Some of their designs are beyond cheesy.

Some look okay, but I've never been so moved as to purchase one.

Cheesy or not, there's at least 4 of them that I'd buy today if I could.

I like this one that's up on eBay

Love Primal Wear myself.....check out on Ebay you can get some screaming deals from love2pedal who carries a lot of their stuff. And ships to Canada (which is why I plug him). Just ordered a Star Wars jersey that I can't wait to get it. If you like the style....go for it.

Ditto that. Twin Six is another company with unappealing designs. Aside from the Fat Cyclist jerseys and the discontinued "Cabbie", I've not seen anything from them I'd want on my body.

I was threatened with being "laughed at forever" if I ordered a Discovery kit from Ebay. Also most of my friends said they'd refuse to ride with me if I showed up for a ride wearing Disco stuff.

I don't know about all their designs, but I can appreciate the military jerseys, to show a little support.

I still have several Primal jerseys, they are well made and have that "club fit" for us rounder riders.

Tom, nice bike too!

I've got a couple. High quality construction and materials. Very untypical roadie design that some like, some don't, I think their origins were in mtb. Tend to have more roomie, club type fit. I tend to like some older designs better. They will run a original design for a year or so then retire it. Ebay is a good source and often has retired designs.

I have a Wedgie:

I've always liked them but have never owned one. I have a lot of plain, cheap jerseys from when I first started wearing them (as opposed to plain t-shirts), plus a bunch of souvenir jerseys that I bought when I rode centuries. (I like wearing reminders that I can actually ride 100 miles from time to time.)

None of my jerseys has ever worn out! I can't justify buying more just because they're kind of cool. I haven't even been able to justify buying them cheaply on Ebay. I just have too many jerseys!

I'm always open to purchasing something that speaks to me. However, if I keep riding centuries and other organized rides with souvenir jerseys, I may never buy a Primal one.

What is this "justify" thing of which you speak.......and how can I prevent myself from ever using it in my quest to buy more bicycle stuff?
Who are you and why are you on bike forums if you don't have the disease that is cyclopurchases?

Please leave restraint and panties at the door.
