I'm officially a cycling clydesdale. The proud new owner of 1 Surly LHT. It's going to stay stock for awhile, until I figure out what I need. Haven't had much time to ride it and won't for the next 2 weeks or so, but I must say it looks dang good standing there in the garage. Plan on using it to get my big butt into shape and drop some weight. Wish me luck.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

The bike looks a heck of a lot better in motion. So does the rider. Hint, hint. :-)

An LHT is kinda like a truck, it looks best loaded down and on the open road. Think of the places you can go, and the things you can see, all while giving nothing to the oil companies. On a long tour, passing gas stations feels better and better all the time.

Good on ya, agcycler!

The only reason I don't like the Surly LHT is because they don't make it in a 66cm or bigger....

Aren’t they beautiful! You almost don’t want to ride a new for fear of getting it dirty. But its like having a good sheep dog, if you don’t use them they get bored.

Congrats and enjoy. Speaking of enjoyment, how about some pictures so the rest of us can enjoy too.

BTW, I am seriously considering an LHT for my next bike.

Yeah, where's the photos?

I've been convinced that if I ever get a new steel bike that the Surly LHT would be right up there at the top of the list.

It took you quite some time to decide on a bike, wow!
