Greetings from the Sunny SE! VAcation is great!

Man, it's great this morning in Chattanooga! Gonna be 75 this morning and already beautiful!

Just checking in and saying hey!

I'll of course, have a complete ride report after Tour de Pike, once I'm home.

Hey Tom. Great to hear from you and looking forward to a ride report with pictures. It is supposed to hit 60 today and then snow tomorrow here in southwest Iowa. Have a great vacation.

You must be the only one having pleasant weather! Raining cats and dogs here, but I keep going outside to get the back garden looking halfway decent before summer gets here .

Keep us up to date!

Wogster in T.O., where it's barely above freezing.....

Tom:

Please bottle up some of that nice warm weather, and send me a bottle..... Be so kind to send one to Neil B. as well..... Thanks.

I'm sure you guys envy us for our weather right now, but stick around until August when it's 98 degrees with 90% humidity...

It isn't so nice anymore.

That is the same temperature and humidity as Iowa in July and August. We get to complain then also. :-)

It would be wasted on me now. I've got a head and chest cold. In other words, yet again no riding.

Thunderstorms today, and predicted fro tomorrow as well. I'm riding though, rain or shine.

Gong to head on down today and get the start point found, and all that fun.

Here was my shakedown route yesterday!

Check out the tiny hill in the middle!

It looks like good times, glad your enjoying it. I was there a couple of years ago. Lookout Mt and Ruby Falls were great.

The Lost Sea is not too far from there ~70 miles. I am not sure how long you are going to be there but it was interesting.

Yeah, I'm in Barnesville, Ga now, about 20 miles from the ride site. Jeeze, I'm out in the sticks! The Huddle House isn't even 24 hrs! We got routed over dirt roads to get here from i75, and I'll have some good pics.....assuming there aren't any REAL nasty storms tomorrow. Looks like the weather is going South on us, good chance of severe thunderboomers and possible tornadoes tomorrow. I'm riding though, rain or shine, and hope to get the ride done in the little interregnum between the AM drizzle and the afternoon big boomers.

If you're one of the folk showing up for the ride, bring your rain gear.

Hey Tom, good to meet you in Concord today. Somehow the weather held long enough to complete ride.
