Thanks, East Hill and artkansas.
I love the expression on his face--a little scared maybe, but also excited, and anticipating a lot of fun. I bet we all feel that way sometimes on our bikes--no matter how long we've been riding. I also like his "little" friend--helping him like a father.

jebus. he has my opposite problem. i am 5 foot 3, but my torso is much longer proportionally than my legs. SO...although technically I should be able to ride anywhere from a 47 - 49cm bike, it isn't that easy, because most bikes are too long at the top tube for me. After much searching, I have decided that the best dimensions for me at the MOST are 47c - t and 51.5 effective. anything longer than 51.5 will jack me up. the two high end bikes i have owned that have fit the best are an XS specialized tarmac pro and a 48 size orbea opal.
