Nice Little Ride
I took a nice short ride with my sister today, about six miles. She's a beginner, riding an old Schwinn mountain bike, and she really enjoyed the leisurely cruise! 
It also gave me a chance to ride the whole thing in my high gear, and really work on my form and my climbing methods.

In places. The roads are dry (except during the snowstorms we're STILL getting!) But the ski area still has a good 40" base at the top, and there's some banks still hanging on. Its definitely day-to-day as far as cycling weather goes!
