The Br("y"-"i")an's Tour...

I have the Brian\Bryan Ride:

I took a ride with a new BF member today, BikingToLive (Bryan) is also a clyde and a really nice guy. He lives near me and I suggested we ride out at the Jacksonville to Baldwin Rail Trail, 29 miles round trip. He has just gotten back into cycling and has just 7 rides under his belt, but he did the entire 29 miles. I even turn up the speed a little on the return trip and he kept up. to you Bryan. I was a beauty of a day to make a new friend and have a great ride.

What, no photos?

Oh man....I'm bummed.

Still, it's always nice to meet a member in person!

Sorry, I did not think about pics. I was in the Navy for 10 years and I have about ............4 pictures. All from official type stuff, Advancements, Wing pinning, etc. I am bad about stuff like that. I forgot to mention, we did see a big male turkey strutting and make lots of noise. That was cool, and a squirrel almost committed suicide under Bryan's front wheel.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

You need to get a handlebar cam. Oregon Scientific, like mine You can shoot video or progressive stills and assemble the ride photos from that.

Actually photography and cycling go together like peanut butter and jam, bagels and cream cheese, some folks might even suggest pizza and beer...... Because we typically travel at a more leisurely pace, and have an unobstructed view, it's easier to see potential photographic subjects from a bicycle then it is from a cage. It's also easier to pull fully off the road to take photos.

Brian, thanks for posting this. It was a great day. I really enjoyed it. I had forgotten about that dang squirrel.

I've posted on my blog about the ride.

I thought about photos after I got home. Next time I'll have to take a camera.

Brian, I don't think there's a need to "counter" us, since Neil F. and I aren't competing with anyone. We think it's a wonderful idea for Bike Forums posters to meet to ride together.

That said, I've never met a Neil that wasn't amused to meet another Neil.

Yea, I guess it wasn't really a counter. I'll change the title.
