Things are looking up, finally

So this year I've been working out, first at home, then a local gym. Riding when the weather allows, but it's been kind of ugly for a while, and I had an issue with my saddle too. There's this stitching that goes down the sides, which, if you're heavy, ain't a good thing. Anyways, got pneumonia mid-march, lungs are just about clean, took a few weeks off from the gym but got going again. Ordered a Brooks B-17, and today, the saddle came, and the scale in the bedroom dropped below 270 for the first time in a long while. I had plateaued for the longest time, partly because of being sick, and I knew it, but still, it's nice to see the weight moving down again. Weather should be getting good soon, and tomorrow I'll try out the saddle. Nice day for a change.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Looking good!

Once you get that brooks adjusted in right, you will likely love it.

The stars must be aligned

For second day in a row my scale reported decrease as well, firmly below 280 mark. ( I'm 6'4").

And, a Brooks saddle was delivered as well a B17 Imperial, order a couple weeks ago. Already applied the cream, allowed to dry, polished and then install to my hybrid. Took for adjustment ride, about 5 miles this afternoon instead of lunch break, then ate at my desk reviewing email. Planning a long trek this evening with Mrs.

Good Luck and hang in there, the sun comes up every day, somewheres
