2 days to my Tri!

and I'm pumped! I'm on taper now, no riding except for a little loosen up ride tomorrow afternoon at the Lake. I have the Ipod loaded with Testosterone pumping music, and other than an achey shoulder, I'm in good form!

Workout today was gym based, explosive lift leg exercises on the leg press at 800 pounds on the heavy side of the cam (3 sets of 15) and 5 K on the eliptical at a hard run (HR 180-185), and 5k on a cooldown on the treadmill. I'm loaded for bear and feeling hungry for

If it is not a certified event, you can probably use a MP3 player. Otherwise, don't plan on using it.

What are the distances?

You should be done training, and should only be resting until the day of the tri.

USAT Sanctioned, and it's a Sprint Tri. I'm not banking on using it....it just lets me push harder and not feel the pain.

Edit: I just got email back and no, I won't be using it.

Have fun! Will you be wearing a wet suit or just some trunks for the swim portion?

relay team....I'm cycling and running, I still have open wounds on my leg from my crash a month ago......it takes forever to heal up a 6 mm deep chunk of road rash....

My Niece is swimming.
