Clyde Emeritus Check In

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I still lurk here when I'm in need of motivation. A while back I hit the 199 milestone and technically dropped the Clyde status but I am and always be a Clyde inside.

Just hit the scale and I'm now safely in the 180's. I'm mostly a runner but I hit the bike for short lunchtime rides of about an hour a day or two a week and I'm a weekend cycler for usually around 50K each on Sat and Sunday.

I guess I'd like to up the mileage or do the mileage I do faster or train for something but the reality is I'm content to just have a daily workout that gets me outside.

I've come here today looking for motivation. I've ran a much farther distance than normal the last five days in a row and my legs are completely burnt toast and I'm trying to muster up the OOMPH to ride tomorrow morning.

I only had to open one post to see that motivation abounds here and it's all good again.

John

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
