I'm 6'6", but I don't have a custom frame. My '88 Trek 360 seems to fit me just fine.

www.gvhbikes.com have some tall sized bikes that may interest you without having to go custom. I bought a bike there several years ago that has held up very well. mine is 61cm (center to center) and I am 6'4". I know they usually stock up to 64cm bikes. They are good people to work with.

I'm 6'6" and I fit comfortably on a 62cm Surly Cross Check. Didn't need to go custom, but just barely.

I also am 6'6" and have a 62cm Surly Cross Check. I can't say enough good things about the frame, some of the other bits that came with the bike have been replaced.
