Been experimenting-Shower/clean up

I had one of those Vicks Early Defense personal hand sanitizer bottles laying around (the mini foaming kind) and I had a thought...foaming soap seems easier to rinse, witch hazel kills bacteria but kind of smells like butt, and I hate carrying three bottles around in my shave bag. SOOOOO....I played around with my foaming bottle tonight. Witch Hazel foams no matter what, creating a nice light, easily applicable foam pretty much wherever you want to put it. Hand sanitizer tends to dry your skin, as does WH, and BB's is awesome for your skin and smells great, too.

I like Burts Bee's body stuff, because i'm too lazy to mix up my own stuff, and some of the oils and bases get expensive after awhile, plus I like that that they are a pretty green company. I mixed about 1/2 Burts Bees body wash and 1/2 Liquid Witch Hazel together in my little foamer bottle and it doesn't come out half bad. Foamy, easily applicable, smells better than just WH, boosts cleaning of BB wash, saves me having WH and BW bottles in my bag, and it rinses easier because the amount is more controlled. Burt's Bees body wash is not made to foam itself, but I suspect that is a factor of the bottle dispenser more than the substance. BB does make a foaming hand wash (citrus and ginger, I think) that is a foaming hand wash that would probably work pretty good. Mix in some patcholui and you are good to go!

Dickenson's makes a cleaning bar with WH in it, too, but that would be somewhat cumbersome to cart around in a bag.

Nice work! I'm going to have to try out that body wash. I'm not much of a fan of my current stuff I keep at work (Old Spice High Endurance).

When I smell old spice, I always think of grandpa, because I always remember old men wearing Old Spice..... I thought you had to be over 70 to buy that stuff......

The OS body wash isnt' that bad. It doesn't really smell like the aftershave, thankfully.
