OK- it's the eve of the Covington Century

Ok - Wish me luck...I am off to ride in the Covington Century tomorrow. My plan is to make it to the 50 mile mark. I bought a cute little camera/phone case for the front of my bike - so hopefully I will take some photos.

I am riding on my own - as I am planning on avg speed of 12-15 I imagine - but am excited for my first organized SAG supported ride. I love riding in the groups - but it will be nice to not feel like I am holding anyone back. Perhaps I will meet others along the way.

Any Clydes/Athenas riding in the race? Good Luck!

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Go for the whole banana! Enjoy your ride, pace and hydrate, and we expect a great report, as per your usual, MIss B!

At large rides, there are always a lot of people riding your pace. The first few miles can be kind of crowded, so you may want to let the idiots get out in front. Then just enjoy the ride.
