I rode for the first time in 10+ years yesterday after I picked up my new bike on Saturday. It felt really good...even with a sore butt and hands. I'm definitely liking it much more than the elliptical machine. I'm really wanting to keep up with the weight loss and get outside more even with fall/winter approaching.
I was able to do 8 miles on a bike path, and I probably could have done a bit more but I figured I should head back while still feeling good instead of getting out too far and not being able to bike back. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow or Wednesday evening and get up to double digits! This forum has been great for advice and inspiration.
