OK _ So on every group ride I have been in the slow group - or last. Well off I went to the Vinings Women's ride tonight and we all rode together until the 2 groups usualy split. Fast Group loses us on a hill...Anyway I caught up to them and rode with the fast group. Near the end they were gonna head to do a slow climb around a park - and me and another girl decided to skip that part (did not want to push my luck) and we rode back. But for the most part - I was in the Fast Group - and sure I was last up some of the hills - but the never had to really wait for me. They stopped - and vroom there I was riding towards them.
I think it is my longer weekend rides on rolling hills that is making me stronger. I also had a bigger lunch than normal (burrito and chips - not very low cal mind you...but every once in a while I have something like that but should skip the friggin chips (no beans or cream) )which may have supplied energy for the ride?? Who knows any way the Bee was buzzing!
Ok so for the new readers out there - you are thinking whoosh she must be fast. Not so! But I am improving!!
(16.62 miles, 1 hour 16 min 17 seconds or so (Had to fix my spedometer after a few minutes into the ride 13.12 min mile ish Weight Loss 32 pounds WOO HOO!!!!)
