Today's Ride with Fellow Socal BF'ers!(pics)

83.5 miles with some SoCal BF'ers today.5:19 ride time and 15.7 average. Rode form the Azuza Mtns down to LongBeach for lunch, then back. Gina had been sick for a week and in out cold in bed for 3. No riding for 2 weeks. I was worried that sh'ed really suffer today, and she did. But she did much better than I thought. She hung tough for nearly 75 miles till we hit the clmb up the dam dam! Short but tough, eveybody struggles! After the dam dam, we had to slow the pace quite a bit for her to recover. But she made it, her personal best of 83.5!....5:19? Hmmm, I'mthinking century soon!

Group form the Socal BF forum
Hansolo,Princess Leia (Han's wife), MarkAJ, HerbM, Mad_One, JustMe, Gina and of course, Me!

Leaving town

Getting dropped by Herb, Mad_One, Lisa and, Gina

JustMe in action

JustMe chillin'

Leia and Hans

The group, Leia, Hans, MarkAJ,Mad_one, and Herb!

'M sorry I missed this one, B. Looks like you all had a great time! Unfortunately, I've been training for my next/last target of the season: el Tour de Tucson in November. Looks like you had a good time. We'll have to get Herb & Mark et al to organize another group like earlier this year: 100-miles from Pasadena. Lotta fun!

No way Man! We've had several ridrs with different abilities ride. We haven't lost one yet. Well one but he did show up in a taxi. Missed a turn! But nobody left the scene till we found out where he was. We even had some riders go back down th trail looking for him.

We always figure sumthin' out that fits everyone. Even if it's turning back early, having a wife pick up a sickie whatever it takes to have a good time and safely.

Heck, I'd turn back and I know Gina too would be happy to turn back early!

Yeah Mark, I'm thinking a 4.5 hour century this year!

Wow - What a group - WAH wish I was there. But in my case I think you would have to plan a track ride - so atleast I would see you - or maybe a caboose so the Bee could keep up! Seriously, great ride - looks awesome - and fun!
