    My Goals for Week 4 -Tighten up eating plan. Focus on Salads and Subways as much as possible. Stay away from to much candy. (I teach class and there's a tonof little candies there). Drink lots of water. Hit the gym Tues, Wed and Thursday...and ride 65 on Sat and 100 on Sunday!

    Goals for week four

    Keep up the water intake - minimum of 60 ounces per day.
    Ride at least 60 miles this week (hard to do with my work schedule this week but I'm going to try!)
    Stay away from the sweets and big portions - not too hard any more but still, the temptations are EVERYWHERE!

    I lost 5.5 lbs last week. Low fat and low carb diet with plenty of road miles and hills.

    I should scrape of another 3 or 4 this week.
    Old enough to know better and old enough to forget that I do.

    Gain no weight. At a conference monday-thursday. So, no weight gain would be good. Bike 100 miles, run 16 miles, get to the gym three times for upper body.

    lose 3.6 pounds (get under 206 again)

    walk 4 nights this week

    ride 50 miles

    go riding w/ daughter 1 time.

    Sleep more than 4 hours a night (a contributing factor to my problems last week).

    Goals this week:
    -Make it to the gym twice.
    -Continue to drink only 2 diet sodas per day.
    -Stay busy and active this weekend to avoid over-eating.
    -Ride 80 miles this week.

    I already went to the gym this morning, so I have a good start on the first goal. Weekends have been KILLING me as I've weighed in at 5lbs heavier on Mondays lately than I have on Fridays. I just moved here far away from all friends and family and can't seem to stay busy enough to keep from over eating out of pure boredom. Managing one 30 mile ride per weekend, but not enough to keep my busy. Also weather is cooling down and being from Northern California, I think this Central Ohio weather is going to keep me off the bike quite a bit in the coming weeks/months. My 50 degree ride on Friday robbed me of my feet and replaced them with two footsicles! Some gear upgrades are being made though.

    Sounds like a sane approach! Upsetting the normal routine is always touhgh. I need to remember that any week I do not gain is an improvement over where I was in April. Thanks for the reminder. I have a tough week - too. We are teaching one of our first groups this week at a differnet locationa nd somehow people bring in lots of small candies etc for the troops!!!!

    2) Stay away from Starbucks (especially the apple fritters) treats. Only have a tall non-fat Double shot on ice.
    3) Go to the gym 3 times this week
    4) If my new bathing suit arrives in the mail, go swimming at least 4 times
    5) No ice cream
    6) Lose 3lbs

    Hi everyone,

    I would like to join in.

    I just quit smoking this morning and joined a gym at lunch.

    I have a meeting for a gym orientation on Thursday.

    My goals this week
    1) go to the gym twice on top of the orientation. One of which is a spinning class.
    2) stay away from cigarettes. God that'll be fun.
    3) Lose 1 pound. I will weigh myself tomorrow morning to establish the baseline.
    4) Commute by bike and bus 1 day this week.

    I am starting small, don't want to push too hard the first week.

    Give me whatever color you want, I'm not picky.

    Crast Brown Team - 1) Kick out the chocolate chip cookie vice, or at least ration myself down. Maybe I should keep it, as I seem to be losing weight anyway! 2) Lose 1.5-2 more lbs -> target weight 265 3) more hill repeat / climbing rides so I don't blow up on those short 10% grades

I hope to loose 2lbs this week and to hope to do some gym exercise I think it will be just dreaming for this week. I will see what I can do!

    Well, if today is any indication of what this week is going to be like, then my only goal is to get through it without killing anybody. Wait, make that two goals, don't kill anyone, and stay out of the god damned candy jar at work. Wish me luck.

    Still planning to ride my bike 3 times commuting to work, as I achieved last week.
    I need to drink more water! I am OK with temptations but... how I would love to have an ice cream!
    Probably I will have a little piece of cake as it is my birthday this week but all in all I am really controlling myself, though it is not easy at all.
    I hope to loose 2lbs this week and to hope to do some gym exercise I think it will be just dreaming for this week. I will see what I can do!

    As I mentioned in the third week thread, my birthday is this week, and people have special events planned all week for me. Which is great! - for having fun, but not so much for losing weight. So I will have to dial it back on all my other meals to compensate.

    Goals:
    1. Lose 1 pound (for morale!)
    2. Get to the gym five days.
    3. I'm still off the bike, so I'll be walking as much as possible.
