Velocity Deep V Picpost (post Yours)
Well things are looking slow here. I got a purty pic of my bike with the new cranks this weekend. Thought I'd find a reason to post the pic!
This bike started out as my 'beater bike', not so sure anymore! Aint she Purty?

I am 6 foot but have a longer torso than legs, what size is that Lemond?
I may start looking at some other frames. The frame is a good fit for my legs but not necessarily for my torso. I need to take some newer pics. I put a 130 mm stem and 48cm bars since this picture was taken.
My 13yo is into those type of canvas shoes, and yes, it is possible they are still there....

When I bought the Lemond, I had them leave the stem tube uncut so that it would allow for a higher stem positon. Easier to reach the drops and more comfy on the hoods. Nice upright positon, can ride all day!

It's a 57 cm. My Cannondale is a 58. Both fit well so I could have gone wiith a 59 but glad I went with the 57. It's a great fit right out of the box without swapping anything. 59 would have been ok but I prolly would have swapped for a shorter stem in that case.

I may look into a more upright frame. My seat and handlebars (now, not in the pix) are about even. My worst discomfort has been the seat and my hands after about 12 miles. I just picked up a different seat to help eliviate discomfort in the nether region. I just need to work on my core strength a little more and hopefully that will help keep me from resting so much on my hands.
I used to think the race position was the way to go. But upright stuff is fast too. My wife's Pilot is great. She's actually much faster wiht the tall headtube than on her Bianchi with the race geo. Maybe cause she's more comfy it's longer and faster!
My Lemond is great too. If I were going for another, it would be something like the Specialized Roubaix or siliar. I like the race look but doesn't do squat for me on a fast century.

Ahhhh Blue, I like Treks! But the saddle needs to go. I used my Bonti on short rides, 20 was ok. But for 50 and over, ouch! But, every butt is different.

Cohophysh, I'm likin' the Leader frame. How's the ride on that one? I'm considering getting a frameset to put my 105 components on and that frame is one of three choices I've decided to shop for.

It's the replacement frame inplace of the one that broke on me. Other one was all alum and all blue. This one is 3/4 carbon and whatever paintbuckets they had with nearly expired dates!
