OK, it's a good thing you were not riding with a red jersey when you met the bull.

You are my hero! I had my first post-surgery ride on Friday for 22.5 miles and it went so well and I felt so good I went for 45 miles yesterday and bonked big time. Fortunately, I ride with considerate friends who packed up me and my new bicycle and carried me home.

I am now in shape for bike riding.
You can tell by my stomach. Ha ha.
Going to eat less, and lose 25 more pounds.

Hey, What New Bicycle?
After my talk about a Trek 1.5 I got a Lemond Buenos Aires on closeout. Beautiful bike and I'm thrilled with it. Apparently laying on the couch for 3 weeks when they cut my throat is not a very good training program. I just tried to go too far too fast. But what the h---, I've never been able to go so fast before. I'm feeling fine today and pleased to have sore legs again. Riding again tomorrow.

Congrats on achieving a tremendous milestone. Keep on going.

10,000, and it's early November! Congrats and keep those wheels turning 10 Wheels. One thing I've noticed about our little group here, you never lose your Clyde / Athena status. You just lose the weight. 199's right around the corner my friend.

Ten thousand miles. Amazing. Of course, every time you mention a ride it's 80+ miles. Congrats 10Wheels!

A guy rides 10000 miles, and he gets chided for not wearing the 'right' socks and shoes. Amazing. Let me go tell Lance Armstrong how to improve his racing.....
