Off the 5 week DL

That's right, released by my Physical Terrorist and my Doc today. Woot!

I even got my very own really big bouncey ball to do exercises on to improve my lower back and pelvic range of motion. Not sure how that's gonna work out with everything down there being fused or wrecked, but what the heck, it's kind of cool.

I asked my PT guy what else I could do to help with range of motion. His answer, "Ride your bike."

The bike did more for me than any PT, but that Superman thing on the big bouncy ball is a workout! Hope you get better.

Excellent......so do what the man says.

Seriously tho, thats some great news, and that PT guy sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

Yep, my surgeon and my PT guy both ride, it turns out.

I'm armed with some cold weather gear now thanks to a run to the local Performance and a stop by Wally World. Looks like I might need some rain gear though.

Saturday was so cold and windy and I showed up with ahead and chest cold to start. Yep, mondo sick now. Argggg.
