    Declydification

As from past week, I've been on a diet. I'm sick of being like this, and am determined to lose 15kg. Yesterday morning I had a weigh in, and lost 3kg in a week, so I'm sticking to it for now....

I found it easier to stick to healthy eating if it's not a "diet". I just change what I eat, and how much I eat. It's permanent. There's nothing I can't have. Anything is fine in moderation.

Since the weather turned cold(30s) and I haven't been biking and I am starting to feel the extra weight piling on. I hate feeling like this as well, pants getting tighter, getting winded more easily, etc. I am getting back to sticking to healthy eating and smaller portions. I am with ya brother. I want to get down to around 210(need to lose 25-30) by spring (damn holidays are going to be rough).

I've found riding in the cold to be fun, as long as you are dressed for it. Riding when it's cold and wet... I'd rather not.

As far as holidays, have a huge Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, and enjoy yourself on New Years Eve. It's only three days. Eat healthy the rest of the days.

It may just be me but my progress has been so slow losing weight from last week back 10 months or so even one day off would eat weeks of progress. Sure enjoy some pumpkin pie just try eating a piece and not a whole pie.
Oh for the days I could eat a whole pie and not even gain a lb

It takes 3600 extra calories to create one pound of fat. It's easy to add up to many pounds over many months, but any day-to-day gain is temporary (and will be expelled later on the toilet ).

1 pumpkin cream pie plus some mountain dew is about 4,000 calories which is part of what I used to eat at T-Day. Add not riding a few days and unfortunately for me that undoes weeks worth of effort since in the last 6+ months I've only lost a pound or two a month on what I was doing I gained 7lbs in a week visiting my parents since I had no calorie burn and more calories in. I shall stay out of the goodie bag so I don't fall off my new strict wagon I hope to make permanent.

Riding in the cold is great fun. I saw the snow up north on the news today and it was rather sad because I used to love to ice bike and we don't get any of that down here.

3kg a week is great hope it continues to come off

You can fall off the wagon for a day or two but you need to watch if it more than that. Thanksgiving won't be too bad for me even though I love to eat. For the 3 days after, I will be out riding to my hearts content.

I went to the dark side recently. Planning to bake some lard biscuits for the kids, using bacon for cooking and such

WTG man before you know it you'll have to post somewhere else.
Best thing about cycling is when I'm at work I'm thinking of cycling, when I'm cycling I'm thinking about cycling.
