Nashbar clothing sizes

I'm a mini-Clyde at 210 current lbs. who had crept up the L/XL line over the last few years. 1000 miles of bicycling later I'm still 20+ lbs overweight, but clearly back in the L camp. I know cycling stuff tends to be tiny, but the Nashbar website says 37" waist equals L in one of their cycling shorts. Long story short there is not a 37" waist male in the world who could get these things even over their legs to say nothing of the rest of the anatomy. I had a similar early experience with a Nashbar jersey. The L that I bought is at best a men's medium: wouldn't fit me at 190 or 185 for that matter.

There are some web sites mentioned here that I'll give a try, but I'm astonished that these retailers can get away with this. I know Nashbar has some good values across the board, but I certainly won't be buying any more of their clothing.

I tried 3x to order from them with the same results--their sizes listed are simply not realistic. They do the same with the women's sizes. I ended up sending back the order all 3x--the good news is that they do accept returns. BUT, I'll never buy from them again either.

One reason I loved Aerotech--the size they say it is, is the size it is.
