New Road Bike
Well I did it I went to the store this morning and put a deposit down on a new road bike. I decided to go with the cannondale caad9 7 BBQ black. A lot of people said get the bike you fall in love with and this was the bike for me. No pictures right now but as soon as i get it they will be posted.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

yeah i'm pumped, i was driving with my wife with eyes closed. (she was driving) and she said your day dreaming about riding your bike aren't you. i certainly was.
it actually inspired me enough to take my old bike out and attempt my first metric century tomorrow. I think it should not be a problem, it is a supported ride with rest stops and all the help I could ask for. I think it is also a great way to meet people from a local bike club and hook up with some other riders.

You are going to love the 9. It's the bike I would get if I was headed out of the door to get a new roadie.
Now you won't need a new bike for years. Every time you get the urge for a new one, just upgrade the group and you're good to go. It's an excellent frame.

Arg, waiting for bike stuff is bad enough, but waiting on that beauty would try the patience of a monk, lol.
The Caad 9 is a great bike, so it is worth waiting for, but oh the torture of it all.
