    It's another week of hell for me. Going to be at work >12 hrs 7 days this week, so my goal is bike to/from work every day, do 30 minutes of cardio each weekend day, and somehow get to the gym to do weights/core at least twice. I won't hit this goal.

    Portions! Holy cow, I think I blow this at least 3 days out of every week. I keep wanting to slip back into the habits that left me needing to lose the weight in the first place. I also need to drink more water.

    Goals for the week, same as last week except for the weight.
    1) Current Weight: 252, Goal Weight: 250
    2) Commute to Work 1 day this week.
    3) 10 miles on the bike
    4) Spinning class on Sat. and one other gym visit.
    5) Cut smoking to 6-7 per day.

    After an average week last week, I am hoping to get the intensity back and have a great week this week. Hoping to see the 240's, even if it is 249.9, I would love to know that I have gone from 260's to 240's during this process.

    Oh no... I posed on the other one. Lets see if I can recall...

    Started cycling this year in February--March started trying to commute. Since then I have lost a tiny 18 pounds. So my goal for this week is one little pound.

    To accomplish--commute to work Wed-Fri and do another 40-50 miles on Saturday chasing hubby on his bike.

    Terribly frustrated that my HRM says I burn 2k - 3k calories per day getting to work and back, yet 1lb per week is about the best I can do. Suggestions are welcome...

    :WELCOME: Glad you are here - come on in and join us... first off post your starting weight. I know! Scary... then your goals for the week. One pound is awesome.. better than gaining. Why not lose 1 pound a week and by end of January you will be 6 pounds lighter! end of Feb 10 pounds!

    From last week I met all my goals, so this week I'm going to continue with mostly the same

    Goals:
    1) lose 2 more lbs -> down to 268 lbs
    2) no high frutcose corn syrup! reduce carbs too.
    3) do 3 spin classes and 1 weightlifting session at the gym

    Sorry I didn't post yesterday...took the family to Disneyland.

    245, down one pound from last week. Down total of ten from starting point of 255.

    Goals this week:
    Find as much time as I can to ride.
    lose a few more pounds

    Ooops, almost forgot to post my goals for week 11.

    Wt. goal, realistically staying under 166 this week will be fine. I'll revisit further wt. loss after the holidays.

    Riding: One longish bike path ride, maybe two if weather and time permits.

    Exercise: 3 exercise videos with hand weights.

    OK Gang I think I have a chance at losing a pound this week. These last few weeks I have been out being social a ton or have had trouble even when I am at home in Atlanta on the weekends. So I am here - to remind myslef that all food in is calories - and I want tostatrt losing weight again..not just treading water.

    Anyhoo - just need to stop eating at a decent hour - and hit the road. I am biking Saturday and Sunday! Should be around 38 (hopefully) and fun!

    Goals for this week:
    - Run 3.1 miles every other day with a few 2% intervals thrown in. :treadmill:
    - Drink lots of water.
    - Stop eating at night after dinner
    - Ride Saturday and Sunday
    - No popcorn in the airport on Friday

    7 as of last week, down another 3 this week. Just riding nand controlling the diet. More fruit veges and chicken. No junk or fast foods, an ice cream on the weekend as a reward for the strict eating during the week!

    Down from 250 to 240 and feeling it!..Goal is 220, my climbing weight!

    OK I think I gained...not sure why- I mean I did not eat that many calories. Oh dear. Time to get hionest...Maybe I did eat that much???

    Time for a change... Have to think about what that will be. The last thing I want to do is feel deprived and have that backfire...this week I will need to do something different.
