That's one of the things I miss about Christmas and New Year's in Wyoming.... going to my friend Paul Gonzales' mother's house for homemade tamales, chili verde, tacos de carne asada, and all of the other great things her and the family would make. Now I'm in Indiana and the best I can do is the Mexican restaurant on the town square. It's damn good, but it isn't as good as Maria's tamales....

Hey Beanz, quite a family ya got there! Tamales for the Holidays is one of our traditions too. Just finished the last of 27 dozen we made at Thanksgiving. And I complain about my weight??

Lol my 11 year old started last year. After Grampa Tony laid 20 bucks on her for doing such a good job, she wants to make em all the time! It would be a good partnership tho, she can make em and I'll eat em. I think it could work
