So I bit the bullet...

Hey guys! So I finally purchased a bike today. Ive been looking on and off for a while now to find a "road" bike to replace my giant sedona. Since money has been hard to come by this past year Ive been trying to suppress the urge to drop money on another bike. Especially when my sedona works fine. I even put on a pair of slick road tires on it hoping that might help. Looking back I think that just fueled the fire. I had budgeted about $250 for one and have been hitting up craigslist several times a day hoping to find a lovely used gem. Just for fun I decided to stop by a lbs to see if they had any used bikes in. Well they did but like usual all they had were mountain and a few comfort bikes. So right when I was on my way out one of their techs rolled out a new fcr that he had just finished assembling. So like a dumb ***** I just had to take a look. It was love at first sight! So now im $600 poorer, not to mention the fact that that my better half is not to thrilled with me at this moment. Oh well, life is short and like I said before.... It was love at first sight.
So lets hope it's not just infatuation and that maybe I can work some of this off and no longer be in the "wrong crowd" like the rest of you.. jk
xoxo

Easier to beg for forgivness than ask for permission. WTG on the new bike, now it's just a question of which one to get next!!!

Well I finally got around to taking a few pictures of my new bike.
Its Giants baseline model of the FCR. Everything is stock on the bike except for the tires. They are maxxis fuse 25mm 120psi. Ive taken it on a 5 15 mile rides so far and I love it. The only thing I think I would change would be the saddle but Im going to ride it for awhile longer before I decide to switch.

enjoy,
Buck

Oooh! Nice ride! The saddle looks a little unusual, however.
