Spinner Saturday, 2009 list set up

Hi,

OK, Google has changed their protocols, and I can't just paste the entire list or email in bulk to the entire list in one shot for the 2009 Spinner Saturday Database since we got as big as we did, so if you want to participate, shoot me emauil to tom(dot)stormcrowe(atgmail(dot)com, and I'll send you your invitation.

Put Spinner Saturday, 2009 in the subject, I have my filters set to take those to a special folder.

By the way, we topped 131 thousand miles as a group! Good job, all!

Tom, would you mind explaining a little more about the Spinner Saturday thing? I've seen it on the forum before but I'm not exactly sure what the "rules" are.

Thanks

Mike

OK, it's cumulative miles, either riding outdoors or on a trainer. You post your miles weekly and the database tracks your data is all it really is. It does require a google account and an invitation, but anyone can view it.

and yeah, the goal for 09 is 150K for the group.

I don't think I have my 2008 miles in either. I will post those and then head to bed.

I hope the spreadsheet is just getting started, as it was nothing when I looked a few minutes ago.

2008 is still open to edit, no problems.

as to the 09 version, It's greatly simplified, a 2 pager and chart with weeks 1-26 on the first page, and weeks 27-52 on the second, that way, we don't have the oddball issues on the months, and just a cumulative total running.

So when is the end of week 1? Was it from Thursday through yesterday, or is it through this coming Saturday?

Week 1 is whenever you want to start it, as long as you stay with a consistent 7 day period throughout. It's a lot easier to handle this way and the sample size over the year will smooth out any bumps in the data.
